Does it work if I only play Bedrock?

Yes, as long as the Microsoft account has an Xbox profile. You are verified through your Xbox identity. For ownership, Bedrock is checked as owns or has played, a best-effort signal.

Why sign in with Microsoft instead of typing my username?

Anyone can type anyone's username. Signing in with Microsoft proves the account is yours, and it is the only way to support Java and Bedrock players in one flow.

Do you store my password or sign-in tokens?

No. Your password goes to Microsoft or Discord, never to us. The temporary tokens we receive while you link are used immediately and kept only in memory for a few minutes. They are never written to disk.

What do you store?

Your Discord ID, your Java name if you have one, your Xbox gamertag, your Xbox ID, your Java UUID if you have one, and two yes/no flags: owns Java, owns or has played Bedrock. We also keep a short audit log. The privacy policy has the full list and how long each item is kept.

Can I link more than one Minecraft account?

No. One Microsoft account links to one Discord account, and the other way round. Linking a different Microsoft account replaces the first.

Why does Bedrock say "owns or has played"?

Mojang offers no public Bedrock ownership check. We look at store entitlements and at your Xbox play history. If your Xbox privacy settings hide your activity, a real owner can be missed, and it is not proof of purchase.

I bought Minecraft after linking. How do I update?

Press Connect again in Linked Roles. Your editions are checked again and your roles update.

How do I delete my account?

Open your account page and choose Delete account. You will be asked to sign in with Discord once more to confirm it is you. We then remove your link and every audit record about you, and clear your roles.

Why can't I use Miney.Link right after deleting?

Deleting starts a 48-hour cooling-off during which you cannot sign in or link again. It helps prevent abuse of the linking system. To enforce it we keep your Discord ID and the time the cooling-off ends, and nothing else. That record is deleted when the cooling-off is over.

Is Miney.Link an official Minecraft product?

No. It is not approved by or associated with Mojang or Microsoft. Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang AB.
